I just purchased a FT-847 and I'm very impressed with the unit. I'm
trying to get back on 6 meters and need to interface the FT-847 to my 6
meter amplifier.
The manual shows a jack on the rear of the FT-847 labeled STBY. This is
a 5 pin jack that uses pin 1 for ground and the other 4 pins to key a
separate linear amplifier for HF, 50 MHz, 144 MHz and 430 Mhz. Can
anyone tell me where I can purchase a plug to fit this jack? No other
information or details in the user manual.
