I also have installed the IRC/INRAD and have reduced the setting of 9-1 from 13
to around 9. I didn't see any significant S-Meter reduction but the noise went
down. Haven't noticed the over-shoot yet but now that you have mentioned it
I'll pay some attention and see what I can hear. Over all I am impressed with
the mod and plan on a report what my impressions are and the impact it has had
on the 1995 production run. That's how old my rig is.
