Hopefully someone knows the answer. I opened up my FT-23R to install
the tone board. Under the mounted FTS12 tone board is a little white
"slide" switch. Knowing that Yaesu has been known to put switches
around inside cases, I've been stumped as to it's function on this rig.
Also, I purchased this rig as a second or third owner and the "bell tone"
has never sounded whenever the function buttons are depressed. Is
there an "off" to this function?
I would appreciate any replies to my problem.
