| Subject: | [Yaesu] FT-840 and RTTY |

Folks,
Has anyone run the FT-840 using RTTY? I have become
more and more interested in this mode, but don't know
how to cable it to my PC and how well the rig holds
up to the duty cycle (HEAT!).
I will be using a COMPAQ pc with a soundblaster card
and the RTTY software which eliminates the need for
a TNC, using the soundblaster for the mode.
Any ideas/suggestions are appreciated.
