It's unfortunate, but the DVS-2 does not work very well with the 1000's and
especially not with the MP. Last I talked to Yaesu about it the only fix they
had was to increase the attenuation on the audio input to the DVS2 which means
changing out fixed resistors. I gave up and sold mine. I use a DVP card in
the computer for now.
