I've an option to buy a 3 year old FT-990/AC s/n 2n200123. I've think
I heard that computer control via CT/NA/etc. was a problem with EPROM
versions earlier than v1.3. The owner doesn't know what the s/w
version of the rig is. Would this age FT-990 have v1.3 ? How can
I determine the EPROM version ? Are there any other "oddities" to look
out for in the FT-990 ?
