Bob a good friend of mine (VE3DUB) just got a new FL-7000 solid
state amp.
The one he received form the Dealer came via the States and is restricted on
12 and 10 metres. He thinks there is a jumper or diode that has to be
removed or added ( his words). He called Yaesu in California and they would
tell him nothing, but recommended that he return the amp to them to do the
work. This is not an option as the freight would be in excess of $200.00
from here to there. He has the tech skill to make the changes, he just needs
to know where and what has to be changed.
