In the Fall/Winter edition of Ham Radio Outlet catalog, there is listed
a Yaesu FT-846, not 847. It has not been approved yet by the FCC. The
features listed are as follows: Crossband full duplex operation. 100
watts output on HF and 6 meters. 50 watts output on 2 meters and 430
MHz. Normal/ Reverse tracking. Dedicated satellite memories. 1200/9600
bps packet ready. DSP filters: Notch, noise reduction, bandpass. CW
sidetone and pitch control. Direct frequency keypad entry. High
resolution 0.1 Hz tuning steps for ultrasmooth tuning. Shuttle jog
tuning dial. Built-in CTCSS/DCS encode/decode. Built in low noise
VHF/UHF preamps. 13.8 VDC.
The photo shows two readouts: Main is 435.508.000 and about half the
size to the right reads 145.908.00.
That is the total info from that source.
