Is VFO B same band (a la FT1000MP) or cross-band (a la FT1000D)?

Brian,
#1 - A 500hz CW and a 6khz AM filter is optional.
#2 - No transverter jack, per se. RX audio and band data plug
for TNC.
#3 - SO-239 for HF, SO239 for 6 meters, and an RCA plug for
receive antenna.
#4 - 13.5v DC - No AC
Also has DSP on TX, in addition to receive. One of the nice
features for contesting is a
DVR built into the radio, which stores up to 44 seconds of
audio. It has a memory keyer built
in also, that will store four 50 character messages. It will
also increment QSO numbers!
Hope this answered your questions....Bob
