At the Fresno DX Convention, "Winston" (from Yaesu Service Dept.) was
kind enough to take the bottom cover off the radio to show me how to do
the mod myself. Yaesu USA has come up with a technique for installing the
jumper wire that is even easier than what is described in the service
bulletin. I intend to do this mod myself this weekend. If it works,
I will post detailed instructions here.
