FT1000mp 455 ramp

I read N6TV's post and thought"my mp doesn't do that!"
WRONG! A definite pegging of the  s meter (we are showing our age-how do you
pin a digital s-meter?) It does truncate a character on cw but I guess
I havent noticed it because I normally have the two 500s in line as I tune cw.
Somwthing to remember in a test though.
Now back to my kilocycles
