WriteLog version 12.94 is a free upgrade for anyone who has purchased the
full version of WriteLog since Jan 2025.

New in version 12.94 since 12.93:
- HI Qso Party update to 2026 rules.
- Add default TTS playback length setting.
- Add default setting for DVK/TTS to sound out a 4 digit serial number as a
pair.
- Make %% character force 4 digit serial number as a pair on DVK/TTS.
- Prevent text-to-speech serial number phrasing from inserting the sound
“an” after the hundreds digit.
- Add automation calls to read/write the newly added 4 digit pair and TTS
playback length settings.
- Make WlSound tolerate WriteL32.exe crash, so no need to manually stop
WlSound.exe.
- Make 10 minute timer counter skip only ‘X’ and ‘B’ QSOs for calculating
timer start/stop.
- Support switching text-to-speech port per operator.

Updating to 12.94 does not automatically update the necessary multiplier
files. You must also File/update-data-files in WriteLog to download them.
For anyone choosing to run WriteLog without upgrading, you still want to
File/update-data-files in WriteLog to get any multiplier updates.
If you encounter an issue launching WriteLog after upgrading to version
12.94 then it is likely because your Windows installation is missing an
updated library. To fix this, simply go to Microsoft's webpage and install
their latest C++ redistributable kit:
