I have been customizing my own prefills for years.  I start by correcting all
the logs I have for a given contest, using my my LCRs from log checking. Then I
export them in ADIF format and use an Excel<->ADIF bidirectional converter
created by a DL to get Excel versions.  I add a year column to the Excel
version of each year's log.  All of them are merged in Excel and sorted by call
and year.  This puts all instances of a call together and in chronological
order. All this setup is for using a feature in Excel for filtering out older
instances of the same call. Then the bidirectional converter is used to got the
final ADIF for use by WriteLog. The next year the same process is repeated
using the prior year's composite ADIF and the prior year's  LCR-corrected
log.I've done this for 25 years of P49X logs and have about 8,000 entries.
Bart's prefill has over 15,000 entries so it is my new base.  After I get my
2025 RU LCR, I will correct my log and do the process above to update Bart's
current prefill.(If Bart updates his prefill the next year, I have the option
to bypass my own effort and use his new one if I wish.)Also, I used Bart's
prefill for my warmup operating and practice sessions the week before RU.  I
noted any missing calls and any different QTHs which were then used to update
Bart's prefill for last weekend and the base file for updating with this year's
P49X log for use in 2026.  I just edited the ADIF with MS Word.73,Ed W0YK

Pretty sure the pre-fill is based from reports from Prior year!Never expect it
to be 100% same, people move, operate different QTH, etc...Great to have the
prefill available !!   73 Robert W5AJOn Mon, Jan 6, 2025 at 5:37 PM Robert Hess
