Many thanks. These settings are listed under setup. I don't know how I
managed to miss them. I have adjusted as you suggest and everything looks
great now.

current versions under Setup/Writelog Options you will find "Log Window
Font" and "Entry Window Font". Set those to Microsoft Sans Serif size 12
(or larger) and you should find it more appealing. In the Rttyrite window
it is under File/Font.
