I happen to have access to a Flex-6500, have tested with SmartSDR 3.2.39
and "it works for me".
Confirm you have the most recent version of the Flex driver:

RemoteHamRadio.com has updated to the latest Flex SmartSDR driver - version
3.2.39 on all its stations.
Writelog no longer finds the Flex 6000 series radio in Setup > Writelog
Options > Ports
Instead of displaying the connected Flex 6000 radio name in the COM
dropdown selection box, it now displays only "Smartlink..."
Since I am now in a condo and rely 100% on RHR, I am unable to use
Writelog, and therefore can't use WL for any contesting. Bummer.
I don't know if this is an issue with all Flex 6000 radios or just
RemoteHamRadio. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
