I've been off the air for about 11-years and just now getting back on with a
station. A long, but good, story. The thing is, my k9jy.com website focuses
more on setting up WriteLog - and a lot has changed in the 11-years since I did
the set up. And since the hardest part of setting up WriteLog (IMHO) is getting
WriteLog to talk to the radio, I'd like to set up a page that shows the Comm
settings in WriteLog that you use to connect your radio.

Here's my request: Send me a screen shot of your 'Ports' dialog box - this one
that shows your radio and settings:
And then a screen shot of your Device Manager window in Windows Settings with
the Comm ports shown.

What I'll do then is create a separate page with links to different radios so
that new people to WriteLog can get some quick help on setting up the radio or
when you buy a new radio, you can check the pages.

Also, if there are particular drivers you had to download (like, say, on the
Icom 7300) to make it work, include the link for the driver.

In the meantime, I'm essentially going to re-do the site with the latest and
greatest. I think this would be a great addition to help users out.

Thanks and 73...Scot, K9JY
