Thanks, that's not the issue either. Filter Keys (in Windows 10) is NOT on and
was never set to on.
This is going to be a Writelog program issue. It repeats any F key and if you
go Alt-K to bring up the CW keyboard, hold down any key and it will repeat that
also.
In comparison, the CW keying window in my DX4WIN logging program does NOT
repeat the keys.

The key repeat function is generally a function of the OS.
In Windows you can turn on Filter Keys and adjust the delay before keystrokes
repeat. I think the max is a couple of seconds.

Yes, Escape will do it, but that's not the answer I'm looking for.
I'm looking for turning off the repeating function entirely. If I hold down
the key (or there is a keyboard physical problem with the key) I do NOT want it
to repeat.
