Hi,
Ever since I started using a K1EL WinKeyerUSB keyer, I've been having problems
with it working with WL v10.87K. Steve K1EL says the cause is in WL (see below).
I'm wondering if there is a fix with WL that will make this problem disappear.

There have been long standing issues with the WL interface that are not being
addressed. The WriteLog problems show up with WK1, WK2, WK3 it is a basic flaw
in their interface.
Hello,
I've been seeing WKUSB's speed automagically dropping to a very S-L-O-W speed.
As I turn the speed knob and/or adjust the speed in WriteLog, I see the number
change but, the speed remains the same. I also see a "Timeout..." message
displayed at the bottom in WL. When it happens in the middle of a QSO, the best
thing to do is use my straight key (I can send A LOT faster when it happens).
The only cure (temporarily) is to exit WriteLog, open WK3_Demo.exe, OPEN &
CLOSE comms, and restart WriteLog. I notice that, before using WK3_Demo.exe,
the settings as read using WK3MGR.exe are all messed up. Clearly, WKUSB is
seeing trash but I don't know HOW that is happening. vy 73 es gl,
