This is not a WriteLog problem, but looking to find a Win 10 guru that can
answer a question. I recently acquired a new Dell Desktop machine as my new
ham shack computer and am in the midst of setting it up. WriteLog V12 will be
coming soon after I get many other things squared away.
In the course of installing some other programs I noticed that File Explorer is showing my
path name to the Virtual Store location as C:\Users\al9a_xgczkv3\AppData\Local\VirtualStore.
My question is how the heck did I get a user name in this path of
“al9a_xgczkv3” and how can I correct it without screwing something else up? My
intention was to use just al9a as the name in the path, but apparently Microsoft in its
infinite wisdom decided I needed to add some more descriptive letters to my call. Any
suggestions appreciated.
