Writelog.ini did go away with v12 ... in the sense that all the
configuration settings are now stored in the Windows Registry, not
writelog.ini.
"writelog.ini" is now just an editing tool for the WriteLog configuration
settings stored in the Windows Registry. It is much easier to edit those
values in the writelog.ini file than with RegEdit for the Windows Registry.
An added plus is that former WriteLog users are already familiar with
writelog.ini.
So, think of writelog.ini as a scratchpad file where you make your
configuration settings edits and then upload them to the Registry. There is
also a button for downloading the Registry settings into the writelog.ini
format to start your editing.
Pretty slick feature, I think!

Subject: [WriteLog] v12.0 and Writelog.ini
I'm a little confused about v12 and writelog.ini. On the first screen, in
settings, clicking edit brings up an option to edit writelog.ini. I thought
writelog.ini went away in v12.
