I am sorry to belabor this, but I have never been able to update my CTY
files between WL full downloads each year. Several people have tried to
help and have sent emails, but my shack is not at the house and I can't try
anything until I am at the shack computer. What I have tried:
1. I open Writelog:File:WL Web Update: click on "Download" and it says:
"Download of web update file failed"
2. I try going to the start menu:Writelog:"Convert CTY to Writelog" and
click on download and it says "Failed to Download wl_cty.dat"
3. If I manually download cty-2014 and extract it into the main Writelog
folder, I go to the start menu: Writelog: Convert wl_cty.dat it says
"Cannot write output files" and, yes I tried running this as Administrator.
I am using Win 10, but this has also been going on in previous versions of
Windows. WL 11.31
I have not been too concerned because it does not affect the submitted
log. The log checkers determine the mults. However, I would like to not
have a bunch of "unknown" mults in the log...
