I think Joe is onto something. I used to see the weird frequencies flash in
the bandmap from time to time too and thought it was a WL bug. At that time
I was using the CT-17 to interface the radio and the PW-1 amp. After
incorporating the microHAM microKEYER II and using its dedicated CI-V output
for the PW-1 the bandmap jitters disappeared. I hadn't really thought about
it much since there have been multiple WL upgrades in the interim and I was
thinking they fixed the bug, whatever it was. But now Joe has me thinking
the it was probably an RF problem that has somehow been "cured" by the MKII.
Different length cables or more ferrite cores? Not sure, but it is no
longer a problem for me.

I had the same problem, RF getting into the CV-I cable, that is if you are
using an ICOM rig.
When I went to a FLEX-3000 rig and used a virtual CAT cable, the problem
went away. I don' t think it is a WL problem.

I am getting Erroneous Frequencies on my bandmap when I transmit. Not all
the time but quite often.
Is it RF causing this, or something else?
