The "it" being mentioned here that tried to run malware is not
likely coming from writelog.com.
I suspect the malware is installed on your machine. That stuff
is likely browswer-specific. If you try, for example, running
a different browser (for example, if you saw this using IE or
FireFox or Chrome, then try running one of the others. Install
another if you have to--they install pretty quickly.)
