Downloaded and installed the new WL module for the first running of this
contest and it seemed to run ok, but with a couple of small bugs noted.
1. In the Entry window the Country field never populated with the Country
associated with the Call that was entered. Once logged however the Country
showed up ok in the log. The Country also showed up ok in the Beam Heading
window as soon as entered in the CALL field. Apparently something is amiss
with the way the Country field is being populated in the Entry window,
because it doesn't work.
2. The Mults window seemed to work ok at the beginning of the contest, but
then soon quit filling in the squares to indicate which Call Area had been
worked on any band. The only way to get the Mult window to update was to go
to Contest/Show multipliers... and close the Mult window and then do it
again to reopen the window. Upon being refreshed this way the Mult window
correctly displayed the call areas worked.
Everything else, including Cabrillo and adi Export went normally.

Subject: [WriteLog] DRCG-WW-RTTY contest weekend 14./15.June
Hello all RTTY contesters,
the weekend of 14/15 June will see the first run of the DRCG-WW-RTTY
contest.
Times are:
Saturday 0000 to 0759 UTC
Saturday 1600 to 2359 UTC
Sunday 0800 to 1559 UTC.
This contest replaces the DRCG Long Distance RTTY contest (LDC). For a
variety
of reasons the DRCG has decided to make changes to the LDC. Rules and all
pertinent information for the DRCG-WW-RTTY are available on our website
www.drcg.de.
First of all, the QSO points table zone<->zone remains unchanged!
The major changes - besides the name - are:
- Deletion of the UTC in the contest exchange
- old RST ZONE TIME, new RST ZONE;
- Deletion of the continent multiplier;
- 40 and 80 meter QSOs now get more points
- 40m QSO points x TWO(2),
- 80m QSO points x THREE(3);
- Deletion of the SWL class and other simplifications of the rules.
PLEASE NOTE:
Logs are due via drcgww@drcg.de NOT LATER than 7 days after contests end.
Writelog users will have to install a new module. Download from:
http://www.drcg.de/index.php/en/files/viewdownload/8-drcg-ww-rtty/34-writelo
g-modul-v-1-0-build-19.
MixW users will find the necessary DLL and information at:
http://www.digitalrus.ru/.
N1MM users: The latest versions fully support the DRCG-WW-RTTY.
RCKLOG users: The latest version fully supports the DRCG-WW-RTTY.
UCX-Log also supports the contest. Users should ensure that the
Cabrillo log has the correct CATEGORY/CATEGORY-OPERATOR as defined
in the contest rules.
We hope to meet many of you in this RTTY contest.
