Mark,
In my case the problem was caused by conflicting serial port assignments in
microHAM router and Writelog. There may be other causes that I don't know
about.
My problem was solved by switching the microHAM router assignment of which
radio was controlled by which serial port. That selection must match what
Wrtielog is setup for in the PORTS tab. That is, microHAM was using COM2 to
connect to my radio while Writelog was told to use COM1. I don't think that
should have caused Wrtielog to crash, but it did. I changed the microHAM
router to use COM1 so it matches Writelog, and now everything is running
smoothly again.
