While the hints already posted on the topic of finding a lost window are, I
think, accurate, there is another less delicate, but usually effective way
to get windows back: Hold down the CTRL key.
That hint applies to all the buttons on the WriteLog startup screen:
"Start a new log..."
"Open recently used"
"Browse for existing log..." ****
With the caveat on that last **** one that you hold down the CTRL key later,
when you click OK on the selected .wl file.
Writelog skips the arrangement of the on-screen windows if the CTRL key is
down at the time.
