I originally allowed Windows 7 to install WL in the C:\Program Files (x86)
folder but later uninstalled it and reinstalled it in C:\Ham\Writelog to get
away from Windows 7 User Account Control.

I have all ham programs installed in subfolders of C:\Ham, and that's worked
well.

Rick,

I don't believe Writelog will work properly when installed in c:\program
files under Win7. Something about write protected file locations?

Isn't there a start menu choice to edit writelog.ini? I'm pretty sure I have
one, but we may have different versions of Writelog.
