Ed may be able to help more with this. But you should probably have left
XMMT.ocx in the N1MM folder since that is where it was
registered. It does NOT need to be in any WriteLog directory. If XMMT.ocx was
previously installed on your PC, you do not have to do
ANYTHING with it.
Once you choose XMMT.ocx from the TU Type menu, nothing will happen. You have
to go to TNC Setup under the TU Type menu. This brings
up the XMMT.ocx Setup screen where you will navigate to the location of
2Tone.exe or MMTTY.exe.

I'm having the same problem even after removing the rttyrite 1 and 2 sections
from the ini file. I see the xmmt.ocx in the TU Type
after I restart WL. I can check it but it does not open a windows that allows
me to register the file. If I pick MMTTY then close
the MMTTY window and reopen the TU type is empty again.
I already had a 2 tone folder in my Ham Programs folder for N1MM. I put the
XMMT.ocx file in my WL programs folder.

These were made with a prior version of WriteLog and may be causing
the problem. Then open WriteLog and setup your Rttyrite window again.
The TNC menu should have both MMTTY and XMMT.ocx items to choose from.
Choosing MMTTY will use the MMTTY Plug-in you already have installed.
Choosing XMMT.osx will bring up a window offering to Register xmmt.osx
and asking for the path to where you have it stored. Once that
finishes, you will have the xmmt.osx window in which you put the path to
mmtty.exe or 2tone.exe.
But before these latter steps can occur you need to do more than just
upgrade to WriteLog 11.10G. You must store xmmt.osx wherever you
choose on your computer and also 2tone.exe plus 2tone.ini. On Vista
and later operating systems, you probably don't want to put these
2Tone files in the Program Files directory. For some reason, I've
found the virtual store mechanism to seldom work with 2Tone and you
want the ini file to be updated with your configuration choices and
window position. So put them in a 2Tone directory under Program Data
or most anywhere but not Program Files which Windows doesn't allow direct
writing to.
