Hi All,
I have WinXP, WL 11.04A
I have the (latest) WL_CTY.DAT download in WL Programs folder. Just
downloaded today from country-files site. (note: when I use WL's "download
WL_CTY" the file shows as updated, but was not updated from a 2011 file, so
I downloaded WL_CTY.DAT directly and put it in Programs/Writelog/Programs,
overwriting the older version.)
I then ran WL's start/all programs/writelogV11/convert cty to WL/convert
wl_cty.dat - all the usual "data while converting" ran by in the window,
finishing with ALL DONE. So far so good, you'd think..
BUT when I check GO0DEQ (a change Jim indicated was made in this update),
what shows in England, not Scotland, as I would think it should if all is
well. So it seems to me that the process didn't work.
What am I missing? Something wonky going on here.
I've never really gotten the feeling that I know all I need to in this CTY
FILE UPDATE process, so don't assume I know anything here..
BTW, does typing VER in the call field of WL cause a country to show up that
is a check that the latest version is OK? Or maybe VERSION? (this doesn't
produce anything)
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm gonna hit the NAQP RTTY this
weekend pretty hard (yes, I can probably do fine without this being solved
right now, but you know how it is when something is "off" in the software
dept) .
