Hi, Ed,

Thanks for the quick reply!  Let's see if I can answer your questions here.

First of all, with Writelog running and the focus on the second receiver, the 
Winkeyer will not work at all.  No CW shortcuts, no buttons on the keyer, and 
no paddle input.  Once I set the focus back to the main receiver everything 
works as it should.  I played with the controls on the K3 (checked mode, 
switched SUB on and off, Split, etc.) with Writelog running and focused on the 
2nd receiver and there was no CW.  

The keyer I am using is the WKUSB (http://k1el.tripod.com/WKUSB.html).  

I am attaching a screen shot of my port settings.  Thanks again for your help!
