This is a classic misunderstanding of Writelog ... stereo mode is
not persistent, nor is there any need for it to be persistent. In
fact, one does not want stereo/split as the default when WriteLog
starts/initializes. The initialization state is the selected radio
as it should be.
If you find a need to quickly select stereo/split mode, simply define
(Tools | Keyboard Shortcuts) a shortcut key for "Headphones Split
toggle" - a typical assignment consistent with other software is to use
the "grave" key (unshifted tilde). At least with microHAM Protocol
(MK2R/MK2R+ and micro2R) and the NA interface, "HeadphonesSplitToggle"
will alternately set split/stereo on/off.
The keyboard shortcuts *are* persistent and once programmed are present
until changed or Writelog is removed/reinstalled.
