That would also cause problems with microKEYER and audio switching.

Make sure you do not have the FT-1000MP in "M-Tune" mode.  Neither
Router nor WriteLog can follow a Yaesu rig when it is in "M-Tune"
(including QMB, etc.).  The display transceiver display must show
"VFO."
