Well, things continue to be confusing. Here is the sequence of my latest
efforts.
1. Turn off UAC and reboot the computer.
2. After restart turn off read only attribute of the MTTY folder. When I
click on OK a message flashes on the screen that I had never seen before
stating that the MMTTY folder was being updated.
3. Checked the Properties on the MMTTY folder and found it was STILL set
with the read only flag.
3. Checked the Security tab and noticed that AL9A User permissions did not
include write. Changed the User permission to allow write.
4. Turned UAC back on and reboot the computer.
5. Checked the MMTTY Properties and the folder still has read only flagged.
6. Started WL and RittyRite and the MMTTY plug-in anyway and got NO error
message.
7. Exited WL and then restarted everything again. NO error message on MMTTY
plug-in start up.
8. Exited WL and restarted a third time. Error message on MTTY plug-in
startup returns!
9. Exited WL and restarted several more times. Each time the error message
is back.
I have no idea why I cannot get the read only flag cleared on the MMTTY
folder no matter what I do and do not understand why there was no error
message for two successive starts and then it returned again. It's getting
too late and I'm too tired to try uninstalling and reinstalling everything
tonight. Perhaps I'll try again tomorrow.

Gary AL9A
