My log had contained the lines
START-OF-LOG: 3.0
CALLSIGN: VE3XD
LOCATION: ON
ARRL-SECTION: ON
On a whim I removed the line LOCATION: ON which was provided by my selection in
Writelog. That
resulted in the log being accepted and a confirmation email was received.
The earlier message was very misleading but I strongly suspected it had nothing
to do with my
callsign in the email header.

Mine is getting rejected too but for a different reason.
Your message to iaruhf@iaru.org could not be processed because the
Subject: of the message
Possible_UCE: VE3XD
is not a valid callsign. Please resubmit your log with an email
Subject: header that looks like this
Subject: your-callsign
My email subject contained only my callsign which is what they seem to be
asking. Just for fun I
tried to take their advice literally and entered a subject
Subject: VE3XD
And it didn't like that either. Why can't they test these robots out with real
data from previous
years to get out the bugs before going live. My Cabrillo from Writelog is
generally always
acceptable except for a few rare occasions. End of rant.
