Dear Friends,
I thank all of you who responded directly to me concerning the loss of
function keys while in WL. The suspicion of having the causative event
within my Writelog 1100 keyer was right on. When I opened up the keyer for
the first time ever I found a small circular piece of metal was on the PCB
attached to nothing but making contact with two leads. Removal of this
unwanted guest restored all function keys immediately.
