That is what I concluded was going on with my FT2000 during the RU. The %O
function seems to turn RIT Off instead of RIT Clear.
There is a new command format for the newer Yaesu radios using ASCII
commands like the Kenwoods did, instead of fixed block commands like my
FT-1000mp did.
So I see there is an "RC" command that supposedly clears the Clarifier.
There is an "RT" command that turns the Clarifier Off or On. And an "RU"
command to set a plus offset for RIT and an "RD" command that sets a minus
offset for Clarifier (RIT and Tx Clar????)
The radio is acting like an "RT" command was being sent by %O for the
FT2000 instead of an "RC"???
