Last experiment, yet another laptop. Some model and OS as the one that
worked fine with 10.47E and the USB-serial. With 10.65C, it has the
same problem on 160 as my original Laptop.

Subject: [WriteLog] Did Writelog 10.65C break the multikeyer?

I am testing my station control box prior to leaving for Barbados and I
am having a problem.

I recently downloaded 10.65C and I am having trouble with band selection
on the W5Xd Multi-keyer. When I toggle through the bands, they all work
OK except for 160. It seems like the multikeyer is producing 0000
instead of 0001 as the band outputs for both radios.

My setup is unique in that I am using a custom board with the W5XD chip
instead of the Multi-keyer but it has worked fine for years.

The other note is that I am using a USB to Serial since my laptop does
not have a serial port. I use a port replicator with a real serial port
in Barbados but I don't have one at home.

Other data points, an old laptop with a real serial port works fine, but
is running a very old version. Another laptop, running 10.47E works
fine with the same USB to serial adapter.

The fact that the other computers work tells me that the control box is
not broken. I don't know if is just poor timing on the USB to serial
since the W5XD keyer uses a custom protocol using only the control
signals, or if the latest version of the code is broken.

Thanks in advance for any advice
