My sincere thanks Hal, Charlie and others for detailed and thoughtful 
responses.  The significant input I've had from other folks with WL network 
issues suggests the guidance you have provided may be a life-line to 
several.

After 8+ years with Writelog, we've decided to give Win-Test a run this 
year.
