For those of you WriteLoggers who may be planning to participate in RTTY Round
Up, you may want to take part in the two upcoming NCCC practice sessions - it
is open to anyone. For newbies, like me, it will give you a chance to find out
what you don't know before RTTY RU on Saturday.
NCCC RTTY RU Practice
GOAL: Final equipment/SW shakedown and operational practice
DATE/TIME: Thu 4 Jan, 1900-1930PST
Fri 5 Jan, 1900-2000PST
A little longer on Fri to offer more operational practice for those who
are new to this (and those who may not be new but whose memory regarding
equipment/SW configuration and operation may be a bit challenged since
the last time we did RTTY)?
FORMAT: Standard RTTY RU Rules. Dupes OK with one intervening Q,
back-to-back on different bands OK too.
BANDS: 20, 40, 80, probably in that order.
