It's just because Norton is looking for certain pattern of executable
program target. By changing NU 2002 - 2003 - 2004- 2005 ..., some version
cares and others don't.
To get rid of this error report, find those wlogcw32.dll and wlogsh32.dll (I
believe they are within the WINDOWS directly, if not - use find command to
locate within your hard drive), and just copy to WINDOWS\SYSTEM\.
Norton will be satisfied easily.

Subject: Re: [WriteLog] Error message
Norton Utilities tells me every time I clean my computer that
wlogcw32.dll and wlogsh32.dll cannot be found. Do I need them? Seems
like the program is working

Is the problem showing up when you run the WinDoctor? An error message
saying it can't find the 2 files?
In a few cases, including files from WL, I have found it necessary
to find the files using Search, then copy them to C:\Windows.
I think there is a small incompatibility with Norton and XP.
But, as you point out, the program is working.
