[WriteLog] Contest Module

I am curious about how to write a contest module for Writelog.  I see
mentions of this in the Writelog, but have found no mention of how to write
one.  Is information available somewhere, is there a secret society of
module writers, or am I overlooking the info somewhere in the help file?
