I really like Don's idea. Give us the option to turn the "DE" function
off but maintain highlighting calls in the SCP file.
The few times that have had mini pileups responding to my call, I have
witnessed WriteLog pull out a valid call in the mish-mash of letters
caused by the multiple RTTY signals, and I always thought that was a
cool thing. I assume that is the SCP file function?
I too have see quite a few instances where WriteLog didn't highlight the
call following a "DE", and often wondered why that happened. Any ideas
on that?

I agree with Jim. I think highlighting after DE should remain, but

calls in the SCP file. Highlighting long character streams after DE is
annoying, but for me at least, it doesn't happen often enough to be
considered a problem.
With more and more new stations showing up in RTTY contests, it's
important highlighting after DE remains so these calls can be captured
with INSERT, etc.
It's very nice to just use the keyboard and not have to move to the
mouse, but nothing's perfect. Occasionally we do have to use either the
mouse or type in the call manually. That's just the way it is.

Only sometimes does it highlight. I posted my comments right after the
recent RTTY Roundup. I vote to leave the functionality in Writelog, but
make it work RIGHT!
