Hi John,
It will depend on the sound card in your PC. My IBM T41 laptop
(pretty fair sound card) has only a mic input, but it's quite happy
with the output of the headphone jack at levels that my Sony
headphones also make my ears happy with. In my case, all I'm doing
with it is driving the CW reader. Radios are K2/100 and TS850.
