Bring up Device Manager-> Ports. Double click on one of the low ports. Try
COM2 to start with. Go to the "Port Settings" tab and click on the
"Advanced" button. Change the COM Port Number to a higher available one.
OK it then do the same to the Microham only assign it to COM2 or the one you
changed in the first step. That will bring it into Writelog's range.

Subject: [WriteLog] Com Port and Microham USB Interface
I have just got a Microham USB Interface, my problem is that it has loaded
itself onto Com 7 as 1-5 are in use (according to my device manager in
System) I am running XP pro is there a way to get WL to go onto Com instead
7 of 1-4 ???
Cheers
