With XP, you will have to use one of the 3rd party programs for LPT keying
Doc. Personally, I had a free serial port so that's what I'm doing, but I
know not everyone has that option. In reading though, you will need one of
the 3rd part programs for LPT keying. I think they're are several under "3rd
party downloads" at the WriteLog site. Good luck... 73, Mike K9MI ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doc Holub" <arholub@ix.netcom.com> To: "WriteLog" <writelog@contesting.com> Sent: Sunday, January 09, 2005 03:01 AM Subject: [WriteLog] XP LPT keying WriteLog 10.52F, Dell P4, Windows XP Home, SP2 New machine. Downloaded WriteLog 10.52F. It recognizes Yaesu FT-920 but will not recognize parallel port keying. In Setup, the LPT selections are grayed out. Downloaded Direct I/O driver but may not know how to set it up. Any suggestions?
