As I said earlier .. I'm a dummy!
The problem was simple: For some reason when I loaded 10.50D the Ports
selection page changed slightly .. or maybe it was some other reason ..
but the DVK selection was "none". Once I changed it back to Windoze sound
board, then everything worked again. I didn't think about that since I
haven't changed it since day one. Oh well..
Guess this is why such issues never die.
