Magnus,

Remember that the FT847 has to be keyed by the PTT line in the dataport 
connection to use the audio on the AFSK line. Keying via rig control or the 
PTT jack connects you to the microphone 8 pin connector. If you are set up 
for RTTY via the data jack, just use the same connections.
