Bob, I recall I had a similar problem about 18 months ago and eventually
found that if I uninstalled the printer driver on LPT1 I could then select
that port. There must have been some conflict. Chris G3SJJ

Subject: [WriteLog] lpt2 port
Hi all,
I have just upgraded to winXP home version. I downloaded
Direct IO for the lpt port keying. Direct IO was the only
drivers I could get to work. The problem is, if it is a problem,
the ports setup has lpt 2 showing up instead of lpt1. I only
have 1 lpt port that I am aware of. Any way to change this?
All seems to be working through my DXDoubler ok. My
ini. file doesnt show a lpt2 either. Any ideas would be
nice to hear.
Thanks-Bob-WT9Q
