You don't say whether you are using MMTTY or not, but if you are, I know
of one thing that will cause this because it happened to me.
There can be a conflict if you accidentally have WriteLog set to do PTT
control with BOTH hardware and software. Be sure one or the other is
disabled and that may fix your problem.
