OK - well - things are odd - v10.46 - if I go into the .ini and under
configuration and set soundboardindex=1 then I get the selection. But if
I open the Writelog Mixer the selections are as other report - but then
that line in the .ini goes away and everything goes downhill from there.
More to follow. It has something to do with Skype - which along with
Xppro remote desktop allows me to access the station over the net.

At least in the lastest version 10.47E ( it did change in the last 10 or
so version some time ) each of four sound card functions has a drop down
menu to select from if you system has more than one recognized sound
card. The four are:
Audio In
Audio Out
Mixer
